When Batty reached Professor Sycamore’s lab he went inside. Professor Sycamore was standing next to his computer. Next to him was Batty’s rival, Michael.
"Batty" Professor Sycamore said "on this table is a Pokeball containing a Pokemon, you can have it because I know you want to be a Pokemon Trainer."
"Whoa!" said Batty amazed.
"Hey," complained Michael, "I want it"
"You can have one next, Batty go on, take it!" said the Prof. Batty walked up to the ball, just as his father Ash had with Professor Sycamore’s Grandad, Professor Oak. He reached out to take it but suddenly Michael pushed Batty out of the way and took the Pokeball.
"Hey!" protested Batty, "that Pokemon is mine!"
"Let him have it Batty" said the Prof "You can have another of my Pokemon." Michael threw the Pokeball and said "Pokemon go" the ball opened and a Charmander came out. "Whoa" exclaimed Michael "cool, I’ll call it Winner, Winner enough come back." Winner was beamed back into the Pokeball.
"Smell ya later Batty, I’m going to become a Master so there!" and with that Michael left.
"Sorry about that Batty," said the Prof, "have this one instead" He handed another Pokeball to Batty.
" Pokemon I choose you!" Batty threw the ball. Seconds later a Marril was standing in front of Batty.
"Yes," cried Batty "My first Pokemon! Marril come back."
"Well Batty" said the Prof "you can start your quest to become a Pokemon Master now, good luck"
"Bye Professor" called Batty as he left the lab "Thanks"
