PART 2 – SETTLING IN

Finn was soon sitting in the office of Mick, boss of WCA(Wood Cutters Assotiation) Mick held a piece of paper in his hand, which read –

SCHEDULE

10:30-12:00 1:00 – 4:30 Weekdays

5 hours working to make wood sculpters.
Come to the building at times, pass through the back door, remember, every tree you cut down, replace with two seeds.
100 pack seeds avalible at counter.
Check in/out before going or leaving the woodland forest.

"Here is an information sheet, If you have any quistions, just ask me" Finn nodded as he took the paper from Mick’s hand. He read it throughly before leaving the office. He would start the job tommorow, scince it was Sunday.
Finn soon arrived back at home. It was a small place, though the kitchen was quite roomy. He slumped down on the sofa and took the remote control from the table. He turned on the TV then went off to feed Charmander. He took the box from the cupboard and poured the ingrediants into Charmanders bowl, then left to watch Pesty Pokemon Strike Back. It was a pretty boring show, but Finn couldn’t think of anything else he could do.
A while later Charmander came in and curled up on Finn’s lap, going to sleep. Finn lightly strocked the pokemon as Caterpie’s munched on backyard plants.

10:30 – The next morning
Finn entered the WCA building with Charmander following, swiping his tail furiously. As Finn passed the desk, he ticked his name off and asked for a pack of seeds.
The trees outside were good ones for carving. A soft layer of bark surrounded each one. Finn nodded to Charmander, who then whiped his tail out, burning the trunk down and leaving a fallen log and short stump. Finn took out his packetof seeds and carefully picked out two, laying them on the ground. Then he faced the log, taking out his saw. He carefully chipped away at the bark, creating the shape of a Charmander. He then cut the shape out of the wood and painted it from the colours of his Charmander.

By the next morning, Finn had created Charmander and It’s evolutions. The hardest was the Charzard definitly, at least he had pictures, he used two trees, one for the Charmander and Charmeleon, the other for Charizard. He dicieded he’d need to buy more paint. So before work he set off to the mart to buy some. He got there some minutes later, and bought more red and orange paint, scince he had used most of his old ones on the Charmander and evolutions. Though he still had to finish the other paint pottles before he started on the new ones.

Work was pretty the same every time, but with different models to make. When two weeks had past, Finn opened a shop to sell his wood desighns. About 18 people looked in the shop a day, and 4-11 bought something. His enemy was a man named Dave, he got 20 people visit a day and 8-15 bought something. Finn needed to beat him. Dave was always teasing him about his sculptures and saying his were better, all the time. Finn was sick of it. And the only thing he could do was try to get better then Dave, then the man would be sorry.
