Meowth, a main
character, is the only talking pokémon. He is the only pokémon in his
particular group, composed of him, James and Jessie. They are currently not highly
regarded by Giovanni, the Boss, but it has been said that they were the best of them all,
until that Pikachu came along.
Meowth has an episode almost entirely devoted to him. For Meowth was one 'A
dirty street Meowth'. Then one day he saw a Meowth, a rich lady's pet, and fell in
love. But the rich Meowsie refused him, saying he wasn't human enough. Back
then he couldn't talk human, and he was determined to be more like a human. He would
walk on his hind legs, and talk like a human. Resulting in many captures by the
shopowner he stole from. So over time, he became the walking, talking Meowth we see
today. He returns to show Meowsie, now abandoned and taken in by the very gang who
took him in. Meowth got some EXP 'rescuing' Meowsie, who then dismissed his as a
freck. Poor heartbroken Meowth...
Often the brains behind those plans prepared by Team Rocket, always foiled by Ash and Co.
Often he just rushes into things, missing important details. Questionably the
only evil pokémon, though some would disagree evil creatures don't fall in love and take
care of eggs, fight for them, win, and lose them because the hatched egg had imprinted by
a certain human who grabbed the cute pokémon. I really think he has a heart of as
gold as on his charm. |
