The Moon Stone
By Cara Pollock
I did not invent pokémon, I am just a lowly fan-fic writer. This is a mere Might
Have Been"Hurry Jigglyala!" That was
her friend, Clefan. Apparently they had found a new planet, one with life, but surely no
harm could come. And just in case, some pokémon were going elsewhere, to satallite
circling the planet. Their pods had already dropped off. Two of each pokémon. So that
they would never die out. As Jigglyala ran to Clefan, she was glad they would soon be out
of this place. She wanted clean, fresh air. She wanted no boundries.
"See it," Clefan asked. Jigglyala nodded. It was beautiful, the planet. Swirled
green, brown, and blue, with large streaks of white edging on grey. Even Moon Stone hadnt
been so beautiful.
"And what are you two doing in here?" Jigglyala gulped. It was Singer Jiglin,
and she was very different from the Singer Cleferan. Theyd already had a run in with
the new Singer, and had been banned from the Windows. Yet here they were, staring out of
one.
"Looking at our home-to-be, Singer Jiglin," Jigglyala said, in a voice she hoped
was different from her own.
"Why should we not? Are not all of us permitted to see our home-to-be, honoured
Singer?" Clefan was good at imitating voices, and had taken that of one of the adult
Clefairy. And Jigglyala knew that hed never speak in such a way, nor actually call
Jiglin by her title.
"Ah, Fain. I am sorry. I mistook you for, for someone else. Anyhow, we are due to
meet in the Chamber, for the landing."
"Sorry, Singer." Jigglyala walked with Clefan out of the room, and burst into
giggles. Clefan acted quickly enough so Jiglin would not notice, but theyd probably
already been foiled.
In the Chamber, the pair ran quickly to the sector they were
due in, and set themselves up ready for the landing shock. Theyd been over in
classes what would happen. The bottom would probably smash right off, and either way they
would settle in the ground. It would be a long time before they could get out, there would
be new pathways, and old ones closed up. There was to be work set upon to clear away a
main path out, and the Window surrounding the other pokémon would be broken so they could
get out. If it wasnt already broken. It was a bit unfair on them, Jigglyala thought,
but no one would stand up for them. All to scared of Singer Jiglin. |
